Fluid Management Program

1) Lubricant Selection and Planning

Chamberlain Oil Co. along with our supplier engineers conduct an equipment survey to document all machinery, lubricants and fluids used. Each piece of equipment is inspected and analyzed, focusing on: machine condition, operating environment, components requiring lubrication, method of fluid application and environment and proper manufacturer recommended service intervals. Supplier Lubricant Engineers then interpret the survey data and create a customized Computex recommendation for your operation. Their analyses also suggest product purchase consolidation so all lubricants and fluids are ordered for delivery in the most cost-effective convenient packaging available. This selection and planning process produces economies in product use.

Major Benefits include: More efficient operation. Less unscheduled downtime. Measurable reductions in waste. Sharply reduced maintenance costs. Better managed, reduced inventories. Safe and effective management of used oil streams.

2) Lubricant and Equipment Monitoring

An exclusive proactive maintenance concept maximizes equipment life by identifying and correcting potential root causes of failures. Chamberlain Oil Co. uses a monitoring process consisting of lubricant and fluid analysis, equipment evaluations and a systemic approach to contamination control. Increased productivity and maximum equipment life can be directly attributable to the Texaco proactive services.

Analysis of used oil is the most widely practiced form of preventive and predictive maintenance. Operated by a premier, independent laboratory, Shellcare & Texcheck Oil Analysis Service provides you with valuable maintenance information on the internal condition of oil-lubricated equipment.

Oil analysis helps insure equipment reliability and uptime. Shellcare & Texcheck provides stronger support for warranty claims, more precise monitoring of equipment efficiency and shop/maintenance practices. Shellcare & Texcheck Oil Analysis Service actually lowers operating costs. These and other benefits are generated from 24-hour, in-lab turnaround time with easy-to understand lab reports. You may choose paper reports or, download lab results electronically through LOAMS software - an online database program. It stores and sorts unit and component information, historical maintenance data, and maintenance recommendations. LOAMS allows you immediate access to your information, enabling you to review and analyze trends in seconds. Helping you apply today's management tools to equipment maintenance. Easy-to-understand displays and colorful graphs illustrate what's happening inside your equipment. Simple commands let you generate customized reports.

At specific intervals, your maintenance staff will send in oil samples drawn from individual equipment and/or component reservoirs. When received by the Shellcare or Texcheck laboratory, a series of tests determine the condition of equipment. Results and maintenance recommendations are then delivered to your maintenance department. Critical alerts are faxed or telephoned to the appropriate equipment supervisor.

3) Used Oil Collection
We offer a fluid management program that provides contractors who collect and transport your used motor oil. The licensed contractors provide safe, proper recycling and disposal of used oils and associated products in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Environmental assessments have been performed on contractor facilities and equipment to make certain they are capable of servicing all your used product requirements.
